Sister cities conference – 24 – 26 November 2023, Říčany

Every year in November, a twin city conference is held in one of the twin cities. The purpose of the conference is to bring together representatives of each city on a regular basis to inspire each other and plan joint activities, both between individual cities and projects common to the whole network.

Říčany will host a conference of twinned towns cooperating within the twinning association founded 40 years ago by the English town of Whitstable from 24 to 26 November 2023. The conference is designed as an event filled with a professional and social programme. As part of the professional programme, the participating towns will present successful projects from the past year and discuss proposals for joint activities for 2024. The conference will also be attended by the mayors of the twin towns, who will discuss topical issues of each town in a separate session. An integral part of the conference will be informal meetings of the conference participants with representatives of the associations and sports clubs in Říčany.
