Celebration of 25 Years of Partnership with the Town of Whitstable

In 2025, Říčany celebrates 25 years of partnership with the British town of Whitstable — a charming seaside resort in the county of Kent. This relationship, established in 2000, marked the beginning of international cooperation that has gradually grown into an extensive network of partner towns across Europe.

Sister cities conference – 24 – 26 November 2023, Říčany

Every year in November, a twin city conference is held in one of the twin cities. The purpose of the conference is to bring together representatives of each city on a regular basis to inspire each other and plan joint activities, both between individual cities and projects common to the whole network.
